The song above just so happens to be one of the most recognized children’s hymn of all time. We sang the song as children, our parents sung it as children , and even our grandparents sung this song as children. Actually the song was written in 1860 as part of a poem in a novel but was put to tune 2 years later. Over 150 years later Jesus love is still true as it was when these words were written. Something that stuck out to me that I never noticed before is how many stanzas are in this song. I just knew the first two verses of this song (just finding out about the second one only a year ago). But in actuality the songs has about 10 stanzas (give or take one).But one of the stanzas stuck out and caught my attention

Jesus loves me when I'm good,

When I do the things I should,

Jesus loves me when I'm bad,

Though it makes Him very sad.

You might think this might just refer to children but think of the times we do something that would make god upset. No matter what we do Jesus still loves us. But also think do I want to make Jesus sad with the things I do and say. OF COURSE NOT. I must strive to love Jesus the way he loves me and to walk by him as long as my feet touch this earth and even when my feet touch the heavenly ground of heaven. One more thing to think about before I sign off, Jesus said the words I love you in the bible 610 times,how many times did you tell him you love him today?
